National Daughters Day History:

It is unclear that who created National Daughters Day, but we can assume that someone did it for the love of his/her daughters. One thing is sure that it is relatively a new celebration starting in recent years only. But days honoring daughters has been a large part of human history throughout human history, so it is not new to human being to celebrate daughters.

However, that's not always true as there are various accounts that we can find throughout human history which states that daughters were subject to heavy discrimination throughout times in history, especially when it comes to between daughter and sons.

As it had been seen throughout the world history across various cultures and races that daughters were always undermined when compared to sons in the family. As sons were mostly given much more preference in their nourishment. And this became even more evident when it came to education as women were prohibited from getting education for a very long time, and it was only in the modern times when women were fully allowed in education, unfortunately still in some parts of the world girl are prohibited from seeking education.

Still today, we can see bias towards boy child to some degree across the world, especially in Asian and African cultures. Due to this we see many evil practices such as girl child femicide in which if people know that are gonna have girl child they aborts them immediately or after their birth also leaves them as orphans this is still prevalent in Asian countries like India. Otherwise we also see cases of genital manipulation of female which is mostly seen in African countries.

So we see that from a long time the girl child and daughters were largely neglected and were not given much importance when compared to ones. Fortunately a lot of this have changed in the modern society around the world and situation should keep on becoming better this is kind of our responsibility now.

National Daughters Day Significance:

On National Daughter Day we remember to show unconditional love to the guardian of our family trust, our beautiful, witty, creative, and sometimes even demanding but our beautiful daughters. For aging parents, especially, a daughter maintains a level of connectivity and commitment that keeps families together and healthy.

This is a day all about celebrating our princess and giving them everything they wants atleast for a day. This day also encourages parents to spend more time with their daughters to even strengthen the relationship with them and as a child growing up always needs parental support and their teachings for becoming a good person when they grows up.

Along with this, the day also aims to raise awareness regarding the issues which daughters face in today's world as many times daughters can be reluctant to talk about all the issues which they are facing in their life so this day asks parents and their guardians to inquire about it and always give them support and motivation whenever they feel disheartened or demotivated. It also gives a message to those persons also who still discriminates with their daughters and calls society to expose such people and change their attitude.

At last we all can say that it is a day of daughters. It is totally dedicated to them and that's why every wish of their should be fulfilled of them and for a day atleast they should be really treated like a princess. It says all the parents to take extra care and spend some extra time with your lovely daughters and they should be always proud of their daughters no matter what comes ahead.
