Recently the IPL chairman Brijesh Patel has finally confirmed the dates regarding the mega auction for Tata IPL 2022 which is about to takes place for two consecutive days like earlier seasons.
The mega auction will take place on 12th and 13th February at Bengaluru. And all the 10 teams will be able to bet for their players.
Recently we also seen the exit of Vivo as the main title sponsor of BCCI after opting to be out by itself and BCCI has accepted it. Earlier in 2018 it was decided that Vivo will be title sponsor upto 2023 but because of rising tensions with China and public backlash Vivo already had to come down from sponsorship for the 2020 season to Dream11 and now the group decided to be out from sponsorship by itself thus making Tata the official sponsor upto 2023 season.
The BCCI has also announced dates for the new teams Ahmedabad and Lucknow to pick up their three draft players till 25th January.
Earlier there were reports of tussel regarding Ahmedabad team's inclusion with CVC capitals but now it has been totally sorted out according to BCCI.
This year's auction will be going to be more grand as we will see 10 teams competing to pick up their players so fans are already excited for the mega auction which is set to take place on 12th and 13th February.
